Content tests typically need to be taken within 3 weeks of the initial interview. Message us if you need an extension.
To prepare, click on any unit you need to review. There are many videos, practice problems, quizzes and even a unit test you can take on every unit. You can take any unit test over again, and it will give you new problems each time.
For the actual test, click on the main page and scroll to the bottom and click “Start Course Challenge”.
A 90% or above is needed on the COURSE CHALLENGE (not “unit test”) for clearance to tutor the subject. You must take a screenshot verifying your 90% or better and send it to matt@darrtutoring.com.
Screenshots with passing scores MUST include the following:
- Fraction or Percent correct (must be better than 90%)
- It must show the words “course challenge” and not just be a unit test
- It must show the class (like AP statistics or honors biology).
If you don’t pass, you can take any course challenge over again, and it will give you new problems each time. You just need a 90% or better on the test once.
For the ACT, review and practice materials are provided below along with the test. You’ll need to do the first 45 of English, all the math, the first 20 reading, and the last 20 of the science. Submit answers using the google form provided.
